The Area Sales Manager Project Product Manager ShorePower is responsible for acquiring new project OEM and end-user clients, grow and maintain business, meet sales targets, establish and negotiate SLA’s, increase sales and service volume through partnership/business development and exceptional customer support.


The Role:

  • Drive efforts to meet or exceed order and revenue targets by winning opportunities and closing deals
  • Pro-actively research and hunt for new “Project OEM” and "Engineering Firm" prospects involved in Mining and Industrial projects and establish communications
  • Pro-actively research and hunt for “End-user” prospects of Project OEM’s, such as mines, metal processing facilities, specialty factories and establish communications
  • Establish and maintain personal contract with accounts to determine possible buyers of company products and/or services
  • Submit proposals, make presentations, maintain customer interface to sell products
  • Prepare business development plan through research, formulating market analysis, and deliver accurate business reports
  • Monitor and communicate sales activity to contribute to product and SLA planning
  • Monitor market to identify opportunities
  • Manage CRM sales pipeline
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports



  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering, discipline preferred)
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Previous experience as: Project Manager, Project Engineer or management on large projects in manufacturing sector are considered as a plus
  • Relevant experience with mining and industrial projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge about the mining and industrial processing industries and main products
  • Strong understanding of sales and the sales order process
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • High energy, teamwork, and passion for driving sales
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English
