Summary:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the electrical design and engineering of new, innovative standard products for Cavotec.

The Role:

Electrical engineering for prioritized New Product Development projects, for low, medium and high voltage applications
Execute tasks within approved project boundaries and according to Cavotec Gate Model
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications
Drive smart, modular product architectures
Risk analysis and risk mitigation
Produce full electrical technical documentation
Prototype build, testing and homologation of electrical systems
Optimize electrical product design for manufacturing and assembly processes, installation and serviceability on site, in close cooperation with CoE manufacturing sites

Requirements:

Solid engineering background with a BSc degree in electrical engineering
At least 6 year experience in development of complete “grid to plug” electrical systems, in medium and high voltage applications
Proficient in English (both verbal and written)
Extensive experience in product development of complex equipment
Team player, accountable for own work, responsible
Dedicated work ethic, driving on-time and high quality results with fit for purpose solutions

The following skills is preferred:

International travelling will be part of the job (10%-20%).
