Summary:

  • Identify new business opportunities in line with the Group business strategy
  • Maintain and develop high level sales relationships in order to maintain and increase market quotas, acting as a market leader
  • Plan, develop and execute business development activities, short and long term marketing and sales plans
  • Act as an internal business development & marketing partner
  • Co-operate in providing strategic sales & marketing plans
  • Drive the sales activities directly reporting to the President of Industry Division

 

Main Tasks and Key Responsabilities:

  • Relate to, coordinate with and manage key stakeholders in order to ensure and strengthen local partnerships
  • Support the Division President in deploying the global sales strategy facilitating growth and sales at the assigned region
  • Analyse business trends developing new opportunities
  • Conduct Market Research and attend trade shows to represent Cavotec and establish new/additional products/service offerings
  • Support the Division President in appointing and managing suitable agents and distributors in the territory for the distribution of products
  • Develop a business plan covering sales and revenues for the assigned region and market
  • Manage the streamlining of the sales process
  • Manage the sales team to meet agreed targets
  • Identify new opportunities and promote the system selling of Division products
  • Forecast sales for each product and territory
  • Set individual territory sales targets and manage individual performance for the sales team
  • Develop the sales team through motivation, counselling, mentoring and product training
  • Monitor the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of sales reports and cyclical sales meetings
  • Identify the major existing and new potential customers and markets and act as a company ambassador
  • Identify the major top customers and ensuring their needs are being met, and that they are kept up to date with any new Cavotec products or developments through various methods including meetings and presentations
  • Negotiate business opportunities and contracts with clients
  • Monitor progress ensuring on-time delivery
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of cost and pricing structures for assigned products and customers

 

Requirements:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Strong experience in selling and market knowledge.
  • Experience in the MU systems, products and business region will be a must
  • Experience in negotiating international sales contracts
  • Management and interpersonal skills
  • Good communicator, fluency in English
  • Previous experience in team management
  • Mechanical or Electrical engineering background

  • Business development skills
  • More than 5 years of experience in similar roles, with team management
  • More than 10 years experience in technical sales (for complex custom products)
