Summary:
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures at all times.
- Support the organisation’s Shore Power ship retrofit projects globally, at sea and on land
- Support Singapore Service Centre operations in Southeast Asia and India
The Role:
- Coordinate with customers to receive the required ship documentations for preparation of technical proposal for retrofit
- Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals
- Sourcing of retrofit services and equipment
- Coordinate with appointed suppliers, contractors and Customer appointed agents for timely delivery of all equipments and services
- Follow up with Customer, factories and 3rd party service providers in the Class approval of retrofit drawings and documentations
- Sourcing of spares and consumables during project execution
- Maintain project documentations
- Assist r in the planning and execution of service interventions
- Provide office support to Service Engineers for transportation and accommodation arrangements
- Provide office support to service Sales Managers in maintaining an overview of all open Sales Orders in Southeast Asia and India
- Support Service Centre Manager in coordination of trainings
- Setting and monitoring KPIs in the Singapore workshop, 3rd parties and onsite
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering field (preferably Electrical Engineering)
- Working experience in an OEM and service company environment
- Working experience being part of project teams in the ship building/repair business
- Knowledge of port and shipping operations
- Worked in a multicultural environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint)
- Excellent communication skills
